We, a group of educators and practitioners in various fields, have joined together to fulfill a shared dream: to engage in agriculture for its own sake, and to create a rehabilitative and educational environment.
Ruca’s Farm is incorporated as a public benefit corporation and is a non-profit business.
Moshav Hemed and Ruca’s Farm
Moshav Hemed is a religious moshav in central Israel, located near Or Yehuda and the Ben-Gurion International Airport. Hemed has a population of approximately 1,350 people. The village was founded in 1950 by demobilized soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces who came to Israel as immigrants from Europe. Ruca’s Farm is situated on the Nativ Family parcel of land. Use of the land has been provided by Udi and Meirav Nativ, who actively support the project’s vision and goals.
