Our Location

Moshav Hemed is located in central Israel near the town of Or Yehuda and Ben-Gurion International Airport and just off Highway 1, the main artery between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The village was founded in 1950 by demobilized soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces who had arrived as immigrants after the Shoah from Czechoslovakia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and other countries. Hemed has a population of approximately 1,350. Ruca’s Farm is situated in the center of the moshav and near its school.
